Welcome to this week's blog. It will be pretty short as all the staff have been really busy and at school until Saturday afternoon with the Year Three making their First Holy Communion.
What a wonderful day despite the pouring rain! The Year Three had a lovely day on Saturday at their Holy Communion and were very well behaved especially when waiting for their photographs to be taken. All the children looked wonderful and did very well with their readings. We all hope that you enjoyed the rest of the day with your family.
Please remember that St Joseph's children's Mass starts at 10.30 every Sunday. We must say a big thank you to all the people who walked up to church. Thank you to the Year Four parents who came in to set up the hall on Friday afternoon as it looked beautiful.
On Thursday we are having an open day and parents old and new are very welcome to drop in and have a look around beween 9.30am and 2.30pm.
On Friday each of the classes will have a Flamenco dance lesson and there is a three pounds charge as this is so expensive. On Friday the children will be allowed to dress up in the colours of the Spanish flag which are RED AND YELLOW.
Some of the topics we are doing are about the Spanish Armada, Sir Francis Drake, traditional Spanish dress, Flamenco dancing, the geography of Spain and lots lots more. If you have any objects, clothing, information or expertise on the country of Spain please contact us or send it in. We would like lots of holiday brochures too. Thank you.

This week we have a RICH TASK week and the week will have a SPANISH theme.
